CRW(Rootworm) Pics

Crw11CRW CORN ROOTS compared to Force treated and Poncho 1250 treated. As you can see the root mass on the CRW corn (roots to left in picture) are much better than the Force treated (middle set of roots) and the Poncho 1250 treated (roots on the right in picture). The uptake of plant nutrients and the strength of the root system of the CRW corn, will be the most beneficial to the corn plant vs the other two root treatments.
Which plant would you rather have on your farm? You Decide.

CRW13Here is a look at two corn plants. The plant on the left is treated with Poncho 1250. The plant on the right is CRW corn. As you can see, with the brace roots pulled back, the inner nodal roots have been eaten off by corn rootworm. The CRW corn, the inner nodal roots are in tact and healthy. The CRW corn will uptake nutrients and be very productive. The plant on the left will be lucky to stay standing by harvest.

MVC-088SThis is the same plant as center picture, plant on the left. The difference is the brace roots are down, not pulled back. This hides the damage done by corn rootworm on the inner nodal roots. If you do not pull these roots back, you are not able to see the damage.
