All soybeans delivered to any of CPI’s grain elevators must be placed on a DP contract. This is the same program we had for soybeans last year and is the only option available for soybeans this year. This gives CPI title to the soybeans so we can best utilize the storage space we have available. No open storage or warehouse receipts will be available on soybeans this year.
NO service fees for any soybeans delivered in September. Beginning October 1, 2011 and running through the date they are priced a daily service charge of $.001315 will accrue. Customer will have a 15 day allowance period after delivery to sell soybeans and avoid service fees. If not sold within the 15 day allowance period service fees will begin to accrue from date of delivery. Service fees will be withheld at settlement time. The DP service charge rate is lower than our regular storage rate of $.001700.
The price for the soybeans on this contract will be the posted spot cash bid at the location they were delivered to. The soybeans can be priced when CPI has a bid for soybeans.
We would like a commitment from the Customer on what quantity we can expect so a contract can be issued. A signature will be required on the contract. The contract will be adjusted to actual amount delivered when delivery is finished by the Customer. The contract is necessary so we can apply the bushels as they are delivered and use the soybeans for company ownership to ship this fall.
