CPI Names Vice President of Operations

[HASTINGS, NE June 29, 2020] — Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) has announced that Jerry Bahe has been hired as Vice President of Operations effective June 29, 2020.

Bahe has 25 years of experience in the grain industry.  He was previously a Regional Operations Manager with Gavilon Grain, LLC.  Jerry started his career as a Manager Trainee with Peavey Grain Company in St. Joseph, Missouri and Council Bluffs, Iowa.  He then worked in Kalama, Washington for 14 years before returning to Omaha, Nebraska to become a Regional Operations Manager for Gavilon Grain, LLC.

“Jerry’s experience with multiple locations in large trade territories allows him to make an immediate impact on CPI’s operations,” stated Gary Brandt, CEO. He added, “I am confident that his ability to enhance CPI’s safety culture, while adding efficiencies, will make CPI better able to serve our patrons.”

Jerry was raised in Shickley, Nebraska.  He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Business Management.
