Loss Of CPI Dry Plant in Hastings, NE

[HASTINGS, NE May 24, 2019] — A fire has claimed the Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) dry fertilizer facility in Hastings, NE. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

“The fire is nothing short of a tragedy.  I am very thankful and humbled by all of the outpouring of support we have received from the community of Hastings, as well as, the leaders of various cooperatives throughout the state,” said Allan Zumpfe, CEO. He added, “We will rebuild this great facility and asset to our company.”
