Anhydrous Ammonia training was presented by Gary Cless, Purchasing Manager of Fairbank Equipment, Inc., on Thursday, December 11th. Gary has many years of experience dealing with components of anhydrous ammonia plants and trailers. Gary presented to the group about the different parts of anhydrous plants and trailers and had examples of cut a ways to show how they work. Gary also talked about the differences in anhydrous hoses, hydrostatic relief valves work, and pop off relief valves work. Throughout the meeting Gary had an open discussion with attendees. Mike Knehans from Fairbanks in Grand Island was also there to help field question from the group. We had a mixture of experience in the group attending, so everyone was able to learned something new.
We hope to have Gary Cless travel to a few of our anhydrous plants and help answer questions we might have at those plants.
