Hastings, NE – April 4, 2016: The Board of Directors of Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) announced that Steve Domm informed the Board on Friday that he is stepping down as Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective May 1, 2016. Mr. Domm has accepted the Chief Executive Officer position at Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative in Renville, Minnesota, an opportunity months in the development.
“Steve’s leadership skills, diverse agricultural experience, in-depth knowledge of agriculture and focus on enhancing the Company’s safety culture were an asset to Cooperative Producers, Inc. during his tenure. We are disappointed to see Steve leave, but knowing that he grew up on a beet farm, we understand his personal decision to accept his dream job returning to that industry,” stated Jeff Loschen, CPI’s Board President. Loschen added, “The Board will immediately commence the process of naming an Interim CEO and identifying a new Chief Executive Officer of the Company.”
