CPI To Sell Midas Franchise in Kearney, Nebraska

[HASTINGS, NE March 20, 2020] — Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) has signed an agreement to sell the Kearney Midas location to Leeds West Groups (LWG), a Greenwood Village, Colo. based company, after running it for 29 years. On March 31, 2020, the store will transition to its new ownership. The acquisition expands LWG’s Midas presence in Nebraska to five locations and to 88 nationwide.

“CPI is continuing to focus on agricultural based business. While this wasn’t an easy decision, we will continue to operate our tire stores and tire service trucks in rural central Nebraska to service our patrons’ needs,” says Gary Brandt, CPI’s Interim CEO.
